I brought a box of 30 hoodia weight loss patches for $25 yesterday morning, so I put one on at 9am yesterday morning and didn’t snack on one thing for the whole day, I couldn’t have breakfast or lunch, then when it came to dinner I didn’t even eat quarter of it.
I feel like I have no cravings with them, the box said it curbs cravings and kills your appetite…
Do these patches work?
They may work in the way that you don’t want to eat when your on them but they’re certainly not a healthy choice. Not eating is a terrible way to lose weight. In fact, when you skip meals often your body learns to store everything you eat as fats because it doesn’t know when the next meal is coming – it will eat itself if you don’t feed it. That is why annorexics systems start shutting down: they’re not giving their bodies the right amount of nutrients and what does go in is stored for later. So when there’s nothing going in the body attacks itself trying to survive.
Anyways, the best way to lose weight is not to take pills, use patches, starve yourself, or diet. It’s to change your eating habits and lifestyle all together. The problem with these other methods is that you do it until you lose the weight, then go right back to how you ate before. So you gain all that weight back and start the cycle over again.
A "diet" I found that is really awesome is the South Beach diet. Instead of starving you, it teaches you to eat properly. It’s a 3 phase program that really works. My BF lost 15 pounds in 2 weeks, no joke! I personally wasn’t looking to lose weight at all so I didn’t stick to it like he did, but I even dropped a couple pounds. You can find the guidelines for this through a Google Search, or there is a book on it. Not sure where you would get that but I know its expensive.
Good luck with your weight loss, however you choose to go about it.
